Prerequisites

To apply for the exam, The Project Management Institute (PMI)® states that you have either:

  • A four-year degree (bachelor's degree or the global equivalent), 48 months of portfolio management experience
  • A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate's degree or the global equivalent), 84 months of portfolio management experience
